It’s not that easy. Focusing on school and keeping your grades up is the most important thing. We recommend that your pursue acting in your school plays and local productions as well as taking acting classes in your home town to get as much experience as possible. Acting is not about “overnight success” it is a long hard road – and only a small percentage make it. Developing your skills as an actor is an essential part of this and it’s a big commitment that will require you to continually study to hone the craft of acting throughout your life. She was a force to be reckoned with! Every time I see this piece of work I am amazed at the capability of the young actresses who play Scout and are burdened with carrying the emotional and technical weight of this hefty piece. (Some are more capable at this than others) But Lori was equal to the task in all aspects. Her timing and delivery was spot on. I groan at seeing bright-eyed, “perky” child actors who are over-rehearsed, over-emphatic and give Disney channel performances in every role. Lori is so completely natural and at ease, like a seasoned veteran. I’m excited to see what her future brings and what other meaty roles she will tackle.

She was full of energy,spunk, and questions-even better than the way I envisioned Scout while reading the books. I was able to enjoy the play through the eyes of Scout because of Lori’s performance. She made me laugh and cry while watching a beautiful version of this play. The cast was great but I would have to say that without this young lady it wouldn’t have been the same for me. I would go see this play again and again because Lori truly made it so real and raw, I couldn’t keep my eyes off her!
